The 2025 Ford Explorer has received a facelift and is now available in multiple trims. The base Active model starts at $39,625, followed by the ST-Line at a little over $44k, the Platinum at $51,525, and the powerful ST at an MSRP of $55,205. On the other hand, the 2024 Lincoln Aviator, without the updates, starts at $53,340 and goes up to $59k for the Reserve and over $79k for Black Label models.
But the Aviator couldn’t be left behind, so Lincoln has also announced the refreshed 2025 model year. It aims to combine elegance with advanced technology, introducing the all-new Lincoln Digital Experience and BlueCruise hands-free highway driving technology for the first time in the Aviator series.
As expected with a facelift, the most significant changes can be seen at the front. Lincoln has enlarged the radiator grille, repositioned the LED DRLs, and added new LED headlights. The Reserve and Black Label models come with an Illumination Package that includes an illuminated Lincoln star on the grille, adaptive pixel LED headlamps, and various lighting features.
The Black Label models also offer two new exterior shades – Cenote Green and Whisper Blue Metallic. Additionally, there’s a new Jet Package available on all grades, featuring distinct 21-inch wheels for the Premiere trim and 22-inch wheels for the Reserve and Black Label trims. The Reserve trim also offers four new interior color choices.
Inside the Aviator, the cockpit now features larger displays, including a 13.2-inch central touchscreen and a new 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster. These are controlled by the all-new Lincoln Digital Experience, which provides access to Google, Amazon, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto services. The Lincoln Digital Experience also offers customization options with apps from Google Play, such as Spotify, Amazon Music, Audible, and iHeartRadio. The optional Revel Ultima 3D Audio System with 28 speakers provides an exceptional listening experience.
The 2025 Lincoln Aviator also offers optional 30-way Perfect Position Front Seats and comes standard with BlueCruise assistance, providing four years of hands-free highway driving. However, the updated model comes at a premium compared to the previous year. Deliveries will begin in the summer, but orders are already open. The starting price for the 2025 Aviator is $58,495, which is over $5k higher than the 2024 model. The Reserve trim starts at $67,495, while the Black Label trim starts at a staggering $87k.
