BEN SIMMONS MOCKS BOOING 76ERS FANS: “IT’S NOT THAT DEEP”
Former Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons has once again faced the wrath of the brutal Philly fanbase during his recent return to the city. However, Simmons seems unfazed by the constant boos and jeers from the crowd, finding it amusing that grown men would take things so seriously.
Simmons, now playing for the Brooklyn Nets, had a less-than-ideal departure from the 76ers, with tensions escalating and the situation turning ugly. But despite the hostile reception, Simmons and his Nets were able to secure a victory against the Embiid-less Sixers.
“It’s funny to me. I got grown men pissed off and yelling at me… It’s not that deep,” Simmons commented on the relentless booing he faced from the Sixers faithful. The 25-year-old seems to have developed a thick skin, brushing off the negativity and focusing on his game.
Fortunately, Simmons has been making progress in his recovery from nerve issues, and he is now close to returning to full health. When he is able to contribute, whether as a starter or coming off the bench, the Nets become a more formidable and well-rounded team. Simmons’ ability to excel on both ends of the court adds a valuable dimension to Brooklyn’s game.
Despite the controversy surrounding his departure from Philadelphia, Simmons remains determined to prove himself and make a significant impact with his new team. As he continues to face the boos and criticism, Simmons remains unwavering, confident that it’s all just a part of the game.
