David González secured pole position for the European Talent Cup (ETC) at Estoril, emerging as the fastest rider across qualifying groups this Tuesday.
Riding for AC Racing Team in group B, the Spaniard set his best lap in Q2, narrowly beating Marco Morelli (MLav Racing) by just 0.087 seconds.
However, as per the rules, the second spot on the starting grid goes to Giulio Pugliese (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team), who topped group A with a time 0.029 seconds quicker than Valentín Perrone (Franco Racing VHC Team).
Morelli and Perrone complete the top four, while newly crowned champion Carlos Cano (Seventy Two Artbox Racing Team) will start sixth after recording the third-fastest time in group A.
