North Korea has reportedly amassed enough military supplies to sustain its forces for up to three months in the event of war, according to South Korea’s Defense Ministry. A lawmaker revealed on Wednesday that North Korean munitions factories are running at full capacity to aid Russia, following the dispatch of 1,500 special forces troops and plans to send an additional 10,000 soldiers.
While shipments of artillery shells and missiles to Russia haven’t severely impacted North Korea’s stockpile yet, continued arms transfers could strain its military training due to ammunition shortages. The North is believed to have sent approximately 20,000 containers of weapons to Russia, further deepening their military cooperation amidst global tensions.
