In a scathing attack that underscores escalating tensions, Kim Yo-jong, the powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, has likened South Korea and Ukraine to “bad dogs bred by the U.S.” Her remarks come as the North ramps up accusations against both nations for alleged military provocations.
In a statement released by the Korean Central News Agency, Kim condemned recent claims by South Korea’s spy agency that North Korea is dispatching troops to support Russia in the Ukraine conflict. “A military provocation against a nuclear weapons state may lead to a horrible situation,” she warned, dismissing the actions of South Korea and Ukraine as reckless.
Labeling the leaders of Seoul and Kyiv as “lunatics,” she stated that their behavior reflects a dangerous recklessness in their dealings with nuclear powers. Kim further indicated that North Korean investigations are underway regarding drones purportedly sent by South Korea over Pyongyang, carrying anti-North propaganda.
The rhetoric marks a significant escalation in Kim’s verbal assault, signaling Pyongyang’s readiness to retaliate against perceived threats from both nations. “No one knows how our retaliation and revenge will be completed,” she declared ominously, leaving the world on edge as tensions in the region continue to rise.
