Zack Moss Calls Out Bengals Following Humiliating Loss

The recent shutout loss to the Baltimore Ravens has sent shockwaves through the Cincinnati Bengals organization, igniting calls for substantial changes. The defeat not only left fans despondent but also prompted sharp criticism from former Bengals running back, Zack Moss.

Fan Frustration Reaches New Heights

As the Bengals struggled on offense, outrage erupted on social media, with fans expressing their discontent over the team’s performance and the organization’s lack of preparation for one of the coldest games in Paycor Stadium history. Many were shocked to find that stadium seating was covered in snow and ice, adding to the discomfort of an already disappointing game day experience.

Moss, who played for the Bengals in 2024, took to his X account to share his thoughts on the franchise’s management. “Been telling people easily the worst franchise in sports!” he tweeted, a bold statement reflecting his dissatisfaction with the organization.

Moss’s Career and Departure

Moss joined the Bengals as a free agent in March 2024 but faced significant setbacks due to injuries. After appearing in six games, including five starts, he was placed on injured reserve with a serious neck injury that resulted in a fractured neck in three places. Throughout the previous season, he managed to accumulate 74 carries for 242 yards and two touchdowns. However, the Bengals released him in July, marking an abrupt end to his brief tenure with the team.

Before joining the Bengals, Moss enjoyed a productive career with the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts, accumulating 2,318 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns over 61 games. His comments resonate even more given his previous excitement about joining the Bengals, highlighting a stark contrast between expectations and reality.

The Weight of a Former Player’s Words

While fans have long debated the Bengals’ shortcomings as a franchise, Moss’s public critique carries weight due to his firsthand experience with the team. His remarks come on the heels of a disheartening loss, which not only eliminated the Bengals from playoff contention but also underscored the frustrations of former players who have walked through the organization’s doors.

Moss’s candid assessment of the Bengals as “easily the worst franchise in sports” serves as a stark reminder of the challenges facing the organization and the need for introspection moving forward.
