The woman alleges that during this conversation, Diggs slapped her across the face and attempted to choke her by wrapping his arm around her neck with his elbow. She contends that as she tried to escape his grasp, he tightened his hold, leading her to struggle for breath. The report further states that Diggs allegedly threw her onto the bed, dismissing her claims of unpaid wages as “lies.” While she reported experiencing visible redness on her upper chest, she did not document this with photographs.
Denial of Allegations
In response to the charges, Diggs’ attorney David Meier issued a strong denial on behalf of his client. “Stefon Diggs categorically denies these allegations,” he stated. “They are unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated—because they did not occur. The timing and motivation for making the allegations is crystal clear: they stem from an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction.
