While Liufau was penalized on the spot for unnecessary roughness, it was DeJean who faced a hefty fine later on. The NFL fined him $11,593 for unnecessary roughness and facemask violations. Liufau wasn’t spared either, receiving a fine of $7,186 for his actions during the altercation.

As the game progressed, the NFL’s scrutiny extended beyond the initial skirmish. Philadelphia’s cornerback Jakorian Bennett was fined $23,186 for a hip-drop tackle, while linebacker Nolan Smith faced an $11,593 penalty for taunting an opponent. The most significant financial hit, however, was taken by defensive tackle Jalen Carter, who was fined a staggering $57,222 for spitting on Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott before the opening snap, a move that led to Carter’s immediate ejection from the game.
Dallas also dealt with disciplinary actions, as rookie tackle Tyler Guyton was fined $12,172 for striking, kicking, or kneeing during a scuffle in the first quarter.
