Kenny Clark seeks sweet revenge as Cowboys gear up for electrifying showdown against Packers in Week 4

Kenny Clark prepares for a crucial clash against his former team

Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Kenny Clark is gearing up for a high-stakes showdown against the Green Bay Packers in Week 4. While much of the attention will undoubtedly focus on Micah Parsons, who is returning to Arlington following a notable trade, Clark is also set for a significant reunion after spending nine fruitful years with the Packers.

Focus on the Game

Despite the emotional ties that may come with facing former teammates, Clark isn’t interested in nostalgic meet-and-greets before the game. His mind is firmly set on the task at hand: securing a victory for his new team.

“When it’s game time, I’m in the game,” Clark stated, emphasizing his commitment to the Cowboys’ success. “If those guys want to come up, I ain’t seeking it out. It’s all love and they know it’s all love. After the game or before the game, we can do that, but I ain’t seeking out for nothing. I’m trying to win the game. I’m here to win. I’m gonna play my ass off and do everything I can for us to get a win.”

A Season of Transition

Clark, a three-time Pro Bowler, was the longest-tenured Packer before being traded to Dallas. Selected by Green Bay as the 27th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft out of UCLA, he has built numerous relationships within the franchise that he left just a month ago.

Though the Cowboys have struggled defensively in the early part of the season, Clark has held his own. He has recorded 10 total tackles, including four solo efforts, and contributed a sack while starting in all three games thus far.

Anticipation for Kickoff

As fans look forward to the matchup, the Cowboys will take the field against the Packers at AT&T Stadium this Sunday at 7:20 p.m. CT. Both teams are looking to solidify their positions in the competitive landscape of the NFL, making this contest all the more vital.

The spotlight may shine on Parsons’ return, but Kenny Clark’s determination to excel and contribute to his new team’s success should not be overlooked. With the stakes high and the atmosphere electric, Week 4 promises to be a memorable encounter.
