Jacory Croskey-Merritt shines in explosive outing, claims third Rookie of the Week honor

In a campaign marked by its share of challenges, Croskey-Merritt has emerged as a reliable and explosive threat in the backfield. Against the Giants, he registered a team-leading 18 carries for 96 yards and opened the scoring with a crucial touchdown, putting Washington ahead 10–0 early in the contest. Remarkably, he has found the end zone in each of the team’s four victories. His journey began with a noteworthy performance in Week 1, where he also faced the Giants. During that season opener, he carried the ball 10 times for 82 yards and a touchdown, averaging over eight yards per carry in a decisive 21–6 divisional win.
