Erick All shares optimistic recovery update ahead of season’s end
CINCINNATI — Tight end Erick All is making strides in his recovery from a significant injury, bringing hope to fans and teammates alike. In a recent appearance on FOX19’s Bengals Now, All revealed that he is on the verge of returning to football activities, with a target to be cleared by the end of the season.
“I feel pretty normal right now,” All stated, reflecting on his healing knee. “I just got into running routes and doing a lot of strengthening still, but I’ll be fine. I’m just waiting to get cleared, which should happen by the end of the season. After that, I’ll be off training and getting ready for the season, so I’m excited.”
A challenging recovery journey
This latest injury marks another chapter in All’s career filled with ups and downs. Last season, he faced complications following an ACL tear that delayed his return to the field until 2026 after undergoing a second surgery. Before his injury, All was beginning to make an impact, recording 20 receptions for 158 yards before an injury against the Las Vegas Raiders cut his season short.
His journey back has not been easy, but All remains focused and determined. “It kind of reminds me of just this past game when we had to stop the offense at the goal line on the one-yard line, what? Nine times?” he recalled, drawing a parallel between his recovery and the challenges faced on the field. “You get them to the fourth down, and then you get a penalty, or something happens, and you get set back. You just have to keep putting one foot forward, keep trusting God, and work without paying attention to anything else.”
A future with the Bengals
As All continues his rehabilitation, he is eager to become a pivotal part of Joe Burrow’s offensive strategy in the upcoming season. His versatility and skill as a tight end make him an invaluable asset, and his return is highly anticipated as the Bengals look to strengthen their roster.
