Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ first-round pick Emeka Egbuka made an electrifying entrance into the NFL during Week 1, showcasing his talents in a nail-biting 23-20 win over the Atlanta Falcons. The former Ohio State standout demonstrated the promise that had many excited about his potential, as he made an impactful debut under head coach Todd Bowles.

Baker Mayfield’s Performance

Expectations were high for Baker Mayfield, especially given the Buccaneers’ deep talent pool at the receiver position. Many anticipated that he would exploit the Falcons’ defense; however, he finished the game with a modest 167 passing yards and three touchdowns.
