Despite this, Fangio expressed approval of Ringo’s performance. “I thought he did good,” Fangio remarked, acknowledging the challenge of being underutilized in coverage. He also noted, “He can be better. The true test for him will be to see how he improves, but overall, did good.”

Ringo’s ability to handle the limited opportunities thrown his way was commendable, but it raises questions about his future role, especially with Adoree Jackson poised to return from a groin injury.

However, he also highlighted an area for improvement: tackling. “One thing a guy has to learn who has played predominantly special teams is that tackling on defense is a lot different than tackling on special teams,” he noted. Fangio expressed confidence in Ringo’s potential for growth, emphasizing that the young player has the ability to refine his skills.
