He noted, “Even though I had good stats, couldn’t stay upright, couldn’t stay available.” His struggles with injuries forced him to miss significant stretches of games, often sidelining him for multiple series to manage his condition.

Jackson emphasized that his inability to play at full strength ultimately led to his departure from Pittsburgh. “I wish that I was able to give more from a health standpoint,” he said. His injuries restricted his performance, preventing him from executing certain plays effectively. “I couldn’t do certain things because of my shoulder. Then I had a back injury,” he added, highlighting how these physical setbacks affected his contributions on the field.
