The Dallas Cowboys find themselves at a critical juncture as they aim for a playoff spot while simultaneously evaluating the future of their roster. Owner Jerry Jones is known for making bold, sometimes controversial decisions, like trading star linebacker Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers before the season began. The young pass-catcher delivered a remarkable performance, achieving a career-high with nine receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown. Flournoy’s breakout came in the wake of CeeDee Lamb’s injury, which forced him to step up when his team needed him the most.

After Lamb exited in the third quarter, Flournoy took center stage, making seven grabs for 110 yards. His most notable play was a thrilling 42-yard touchdown reception that kept the Cowboys within striking distance late in the game.

“Really proud of Flournoy,” head coach Brian Schottenheimer commented post-game, emphasizing the significance of his contributions during such a crucial moment.
