Reflecting on his evolution from a rookie to a second-year player, DeJean emphasized the importance of understanding game situations. “Just a feel for the game, understanding what offenses like to do in certain situations,” he explained. This nuanced understanding has been crucial for his development this season. “Situationally is where I’ve grown a lot, too, understanding different situations throughout the game. I feel I’ve grown a lot and have gotten a lot more comfortable in Year 2.”
