Bengals Face Travel Setback Before Ravens Showdown
The Cincinnati Bengals experienced a travel disruption on their way to Baltimore, arriving just before midnight on Wednesday. This delay was caused by mechanical issues with their original aircraft, forcing the team to switch planes at the airport.
Hours on the Runway
Sources indicate that the entire team sat on the runway for an extended period, awaiting further instructions before finally boarding a replacement plane. This unexpected turn of events meant that the Bengals reached their destination much later than planned. Their scheduled arrival time was initially set for 6:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
Late-Night Arrival
Despite the setbacks, the Bengals made it to their team hotel with ample time to prepare for their matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, set to kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET on Thursday night. Team owner Mike Brown, head coach Zac Taylor, and various players were seen arriving at the hotel around 12:30 a.m. ET, as captured in a video by Colin Porter of WLWT Channel 5 in Cincinnati.
The Bengals will now have the opportunity to regroup and focus on their upcoming game, despite the late-night travel ordeal.
