If the Lakers’ efforts to land Wiggins falter, there is an intriguing alternative in Ochai Agbaji of the Toronto Raptors. Svyatoslav Rovenchuk from Lake Show Life suggests that Agbaji could be a prime trade target for Lakers’ general manager Rob Pelinka.
“Should the pursuit fail, Ochai Agbaji of the Toronto Raptors sticks out as a prime trade candidate for Rob Pelinka to still get what he wants out of a two-way upgrade on the wings,” Rovenchuk noted.
Agbaji, who stands at just 25 years old, started 45 of the 64 games he played last season for the Raptors. During that time, he averaged 10.4 points per game, shooting an impressive 49.8% from the field and a noteworthy 39.9% from beyond the arc.

While Agbaji may not carry the same star power as Wiggins, his two-way versatility could be a significant asset for the Lakers. His ability to create shots without needing the ball could complement the existing roster tremendously.
