Atlanta Hawks Unveil Exciting Delta Partnership with Exclusive Game-Day Experiences

As the NBA season approaches, the Atlanta Hawks have announced a thrilling extension of their partnership with Delta Airlines. This renewed collaboration promises a series of elevated fan experiences that will enhance the game-day atmosphere, both at State Farm Arena and beyond.

A New Era of Fan Engagement

Delta Airlines continues its role as the Official Commercial Airline of the Atlanta Hawks, introducing the SkyMiles Upgrades Platform. This innovative feature allows SkyMiles Members to unlock exclusive rewards simply by checking in through the Hawks and State Farm Arena mobile app during home games and various events held at the arena.

By participating in the check-in process, fans can enter to win an array of prizes that enhance their game-day experience. These rewards include coveted seat upgrades, unique on-court experiences, and merchandise giveaways, adding a layer of excitement to each home game.

Delta Day: A Celebration of Community

Fans are encouraged to mark their calendars for the upcoming “Delta Day” game on October 25. This special event will feature co-branded luggage tags for the first 5,000 attendees, providing a tangible memento of the partnership. Additionally, select SkyMiles Members will have the chance to enjoy upgraded lower-bowl tickets through the SkyMiles Upgrades Platform, ensuring that dedicated fans experience the thrill of being closer to the action.

The game will also showcase various in-game features that highlight Delta’s commitment to Atlanta, reinforcing the bond between the airline and the local community.

Commitment to Meaningful Connections

Alicia Tillman, Chief Marketing Officer of Delta Air Lines, expressed the airline’s vision for the partnership, stating, “At Delta, we believe in creating meaningful connections both in the air and on the ground. Our extended partnership with the Atlanta Hawks reflects our commitment to delivering elevated, fan-first experiences that celebrate our shared Atlanta roots and the passion of our community.”

In a symbolic gesture to commemorate Delta’s Centennial year, Hawks Principal Owner Tony Ressler and Hawks President of Business Enterprise and Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Saltzman, alongside Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins, presented Ed Bastian with a customized no. 100 jersey. This gift celebrated Delta’s century of service and its deep ties to the Atlanta community.

Elevated Experiences at State Farm Arena

The extension of the partnership also enhances the Delta SKY360° Club, the arena’s most exclusive space, which offers all-inclusive food and drink for courtside ticket holders. Fans can look forward to various branding enhancements throughout the arena, including the Diamond Deck 3 entrance and the Delta Fly-Through-Lanes. This exclusive security entrance will provide fans with a streamlined entry process to ensure a smoother game-day experience.

For those planning to attend games, signing up for access to the Delta Fly-Through Lanes will be essential, simplifying the journey into the arena.

Supporting Atlanta’s Sports Landscape

The Hawks’ partnership with Delta Airlines is a testament to the airline’s commitment to supporting local sports teams and the Atlanta community. Delta proudly serves as the Official Airline for several prominent Atlanta teams, including the Braves, Falcons, and United, as well as major venues such as Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the University of Georgia, and Georgia Tech.

As the Hawks gear up for the upcoming season, this extended collaboration with Delta promises to enrich the fan experience and foster an even deeper connection between the team and its supporters.
