02.03.2024. FIA World Endurance Championship, Round 1, Doha 1812 KM, Doha, Qatar, Saturday.
Almost all Hypercars competing in this year’s FIA World Endurance Championship have undergone power and weight adjustments in the latest Balance of Performance updates for the 6 Hours of Imola, the next round of the championship. The Toyota GR010 Hybrid will be the heaviest car on the grid, weighing 1060kg, while the Porsche 963, which emerged victorious in Qatar, will be the lightest, at 1033kg, 27kg lighter than the Toyota. In terms of power, the Isotta Fraschini will be the most powerful car, with 520kW, while the Porsche will have the lowest power, at 508kW. It is worth mentioning that the new version of the Peugeot 9X8 seems to be registered as a different car, although it is not explicitly labeled as such. The official BoP table for Imola shows no changes compared to Qatar, although we have included the changes here with an asterisk. The updated version of the car now has new wheel and tire sizes, matching those of the other cars on the grid, as well as a new rear wing and other aerodynamic modifications. The full BoP tables for weight, power, and maximum energy per stint can be found below, displaying the numbers from the Qatar race, the numbers for Imola, and the difference between them, whether positive or negative. The 6 Hours of Imola will take place on April 21.
