The Red Bull Ring has announced the renewal of the contract that will keep the Austrian Grand Prix on the MotoGP calendar until 2030. The previous contract only covered the race for this season and one more, but the extension ensures that the sport will continue visiting the venue for the next six years. Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, expressed his happiness with the announcement, highlighting the beauty of the track and the incredible experience it offers to fans. The Red Bull Ring has become a significant venue for motorsport, especially for KTM and Austrian motorsport as a whole. The circuit returned to the MotoGP calendar in 2016 after two decades of absence and has since been recognized as the “Best Grand Prix” in 2016 and 2019. The event of the last season was especially memorable, with Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia achieving a perfect weekend. Mark Mateschitz, owner of the Red Bull Ring, emphasized the excitement and passion of MotoGP and expressed his satisfaction in securing the event for spectators in Austria.
