Brad Keselowski made a funny remark upon seeing his doppelganger claim the gold medal in the Decathlon at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The NASCAR Cup garage is taking advantage of the two-week break from racing to enjoy the world’s top athletes competing in the Olympics. This break was specifically given to the drivers to accommodate the mega event. Alongside rooting for Team USA, the 2012 Cup champion and RFK Racing co-owner/driver had additional reasons to celebrate during the off week. His Norwegian lookalike emerged victorious in the physically demanding Decathlon, surpassing the favorites in an impressive manner.
A NASCAR fan shared a photo of Rooth after his gold medal win and playfully congratulated him for his Olympic achievement. The resemblance to the young, non-bald Keselowski was striking. The No. 6 Ford driver, known for his active presence on social media, came across the post and shared it with his fans, adding a humorous caption.
“What did you do during your off week?
Despite not being considered a favorite at the start of the season, the U-23 European champion steadily climbed the point ladder after a solid first day. He managed to surprise his competitors by dominating most of the events on the second day, ultimately securing the victory.
Keselowski, who has already secured his place in the playoffs with an impressive win, hopes to replicate the success of his lookalike and clinch the championship this season. It will be intriguing to see if he can achieve this feat as the playoffs approach.
