The NTT IndyCar Series organized a unique demonstration round this weekend at Thermal Club, where heat races determined the ultimate race winner and the recipient of a substantial cash prize.
Early in the day, two thrilling heat races unfolded, with Alex Palou and Felix Rosenqvist emerging victorious from their pole positions. This guaranteed them spots on the front row for the main event.
Although the early stages of the race were at a slow pace as drivers took extreme measures to preserve their tires, the final laps saw an increase in speed, resulting in intense battles for positions.
