Austin Dillon is angry with Joey Logano due to Logano’s post-race actions, which put Dillon’s family and crew at risk. The NASCAR cup season returned after a long break with a controversial incident involving Dillon and Logano.
Dillon won the race by causing Logano to crash, securing his spot in the playoffs. Logano expressed his frustration by revving his engine in front of Dillon’s family, which displeased Dillon. In a recent podcast appearance, Dillon stated that he was fine with Logano’s comments but not his actions, suggesting that Logano should have been more cautious on the pit-road and found another way to show his frustration.
Denny Hamlin, another driver involved in the crash, discussed the pit-road incident in his podcast and defended Logano, stating that the No. 3 crew also shares some blame for the unsafe situation. While Logano’s actions were questionable, they may not warrant a penalty since he was on the live pit-road, and NASCAR will need to address the situation.
