The adventurous spirit is in the «genes» of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Inspired by the Himalayan mountain range, this motorcycle is designed to tackle any type of road or terrain under the motto #AllRoadsNoRoads.
The Sherpa engine, with 452 cubic centimeters, delivers 40.02 hp of power and 40 Nm of torque, and is paired with a new six-speed gearbox. It also features ride-by-wire technology.
The frame is a steel double cradle design, made more comfortable for standing riding positions. At the front, there’s a Showa inverted fork, and at the rear, a monoshock suspension.
In terms of brakes, the front wheel has a hydraulic disc with dual-piston caliper, while the rear features a disc with a single-piston caliper. The ABS system is dual-channel and can be disconnected.
The front wheel measures 21 inches, and the rear wheel is 17 inches. The lighting is fully LED, and onboard there is a 4-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, navigation, and multimedia controls.
The available color palette is extensive: Kamet White, Kaza Brown, Slate Poppy Blue, Slate Himalayan Salt, and Hanle Black.
