After talking about what he considers to be the main problem with the Yamaha M1, Álex Rins reveals that he met with Max Bartolini and Massimo Meregalli after the race in Barcelona to discuss some problems with the bike, and that from those responsible he received… an apology.
The Spaniard had complained about the bike’s performance and how during the season that ended the team never managed to deliver him a competitive bike, but in Barcelona in the final round of the season he had even more problems than usual.
Rins then explained that at the end of Sunday’s race, in which he was 21st, he met with Bartolini and Meregalli to address the problems: ‘After the race, I met with Max [Bartolini] and Massimo [Meregalli], I talk deeply with them and they apologised’, revealed the #42.
Still, remaining calm and confident is crucial, he explained, as is working on other aspects: ‘So, I’m quite calm that they are working on this, but also we need to improve the power of the engine, the electronics also’.
