MotoGP is in its winter break, but that doesn’t mean riders remain inactive until the preseason tests. Quite the opposite, as demonstrated by Miguel Oliveira.
During the off-season, it’s important to stay physically fit and continue training, including riding motorcycles and hitting the track. The Portuguese rider from Prima Pramac Yamaha recently went to the Circuito de Almería to do just that.
Oliveira shared a short video on social media, showing himself in action on his Yamaha YZF-R1. It’s a sportbike that allows him to keep some connection with the track during this long break.
However, to ride a MotoGP bike, the #88 will have to wait until the Sepang shakedown – unless Yamaha calls him for private testing beforehand, which is more flexible due to the concessions rules.
