This Monday, the provisional entry list for the 2024 MotoGP season was announced. There are no surprises in the rider lineup compared to the announcements of recent days, weeks, and months, but among the teams, there’s one without a defined identity.
Following this morning’s announcement of contract termination with the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team, the satellite team of Aprilia appears solely under the banner «Aprilia Racing Independent Team». Speculation suggests that the spot might go to the Americans from Trackhouse Racing, but nothing has been confirmed so far.
There are also some adjustments to the names of two teams: LCR Honda becomes Honda LCR, with Castrol sponsorship for Johann Zarco and Idemitsu for Takaaki Nakagami. Valentino Rossi’s team changes its name to Pertamina Enduro VR46 MotoGP Team. It was also revealed that Pedro Acosta will compete with the number #31.
