Marc Márquez is one of the candidates to take over the Ducati factory team. The Spanish rider recently revealed that Pramac will not be an option.
Speaking to MotoGP.com, the Gresini Racing MotoGP rider talked about the possibilities on the table and took the Ducati satellite team out of the equation.
– At the moment, the news I have from Ducati is not that the seat is reserved for Martín. In any case, I’m doing my best on the track because then I’ll have a better chance of securing a seat. Pramac is a great team, but it won’t be an option for me. What I’m looking for is the latest version of a bike, and if it’s in a factory team that’s even better. Of course, if you’re with a factory team you have an easier time when you’re fighting for the championship, so I want a bike that’s the latest version.
