Last Tuesday saw the start of work for many drivers along with the new teams and Jorge Martín was no exception this time, and for now, judging by Massimo Rivola’s words, his comments were positive and even somewhat surprising.
The CEO of Aprilia commented on the reaction of Martín, new world champion, in the first contact with his new weapon for 2025, quoted by Crash: ‘The feelings were super positive, he gave more positive feedback than we expected’.
However, as the pilot clarified, there are points to be improved, and there were moments of difficulties, guarantees the person in charge: ‘Obviously there are things that are better, things that can be improved. In general, it’s a bike he really likes. But on screen we also saw him fighting with the bike at times.’
Martín finished the test in 11th position, in a test in which, it is worth highlighting, the attack on times is secondary, especially when it comes to changing teams and bikes.
