Fermín Aldeguer had his first experience with Ducati’s MotoGP bike last week during the Barcelona test. One of the new features he had to familiarize himself with was the ride height device.
The Gresini rookie explained that he made an effort to use the device from the start to get accustomed to it, acknowledging the challenges it presented but persisting to improve:
– I started to use from the first lap, because I said: «I have to automate these things». And the first run was crazy, because sometimes I put it, sometimes I didn’t unlock, and I was at turn 3 with the bike lower. It was crazy, but in the end we worked for this, and I did always this in every lap. I think it was good.
With the winter break ahead, Aldeguer will return to action in late January at the Sepang shakedown, followed by testing at the same circuit.
