But the likelihood of him starting a playoff game in that first series is very high.” This suggests that while Ohtani’s future role remains uncertain, the team is indeed considering him as a pivotal piece in their playoff strategy.

But I’m always happy to just be able to start in any game that the team wishes me to pitch in.”
