This latest triumph marks the second consecutive win against the Angels, with the team eyeing a sweep in their Thursday matchup before shifting focus to a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals starting Friday.

While the Cubs have also made headlines with their own impressive 88-64 record and have clinched a playoff spot, the Brewers remain undeterred in their quest for the division crown.
