Paredes’ Activation Timing is Fortuitous

His performance included 15 doubles and one triple, showcasing his ability to contribute in multiple ways.
The hamstring injury in July had initially raised concerns about his availability for the remainder of the season, prompting the Astros to seek out a reliable option in Correa. Since his return, Paredes has been eager to prove his worth again on the field, and his presence is a welcomed relief for a team facing challenges.
Alvarez’s Ongoing Injury Struggles
This latest stint on the injured list marks the second time this season Alvarez has had to step away from the game. He previously missed three months due to right hand inflammation, which was eventually diagnosed as a small fracture. His return on August 26 was highly anticipated, and he had been performing exceptionally well, hitting .273/.367/.430 in 48 games with six home runs and 27 RBIs.
Reports indicate that Alvarez has been out of his walking boot and appears to be moving around better, raising hopes for a quicker recovery.
