While the Yankees are keen to retain him, other teams, including the Mets and Phillies, are also in the mix. Heyman predicts that Bellinger could secure a six-year contract worth around $180 million in free agency. This figure translates to $30 million per season, a considerable sum but still shy of the expected earnings of other top players, such as Kyle Tucker, who may command a 10-year deal worth approximately $400 million.
In the 2024 season, Bellinger posted an impressive .272/.334/.480 batting line, hitting 29 home runs and driving in 98 RBIs.
