Good news for drivers, as the first week of September begins with a new drop in fuel prices.
According to calculations from the website “Mais Gasolina”, Galp lowered the price of 95 octane gasoline by 1.2 cents per liter early this Monday, bringing the average price to €1.735, while the price of regular diesel, the most commonly used fuel in Portugal, decreased by 0.9 cents to €1.623 per liter.
Meanwhile, BP reduced the price of 95 octane gasoline by 1.5 cents to €1.768, while Repsol’s average price for 95 octane gasoline is €1.718 per liter, which is 2 cents less than last week. The price of regular diesel also fell by 0.5 cents to €1.613 per liter.
