Straight from Burghausen in Upper Bavaria, Krämer Motorcycles has launched a true revolution in the naked bike world. The new Krämer GP2-890 XX not only challenges conventions but completely destroys them, presenting itself as a naked bike created exclusively for the track. This bold model promises to transform track days and redefine the concept of naked motorcycles.
Playful Character, Top Performance
At the heart of the GP2-890 XX lies an 889cc parallel-twin engine, derived from KTM, capable of delivering 138 HP at 10,100 rpm and 100 Nm of torque at 8,200 rpm. This high-performance engine includes top-tier components such as Pankl high-compression pistons, titanium connecting rods, and a racing-spec camshaft.
Light, Agile, and Track-Ready
The structure consists of a chromoly steel trellis frame that combines lightness with rigidity, providing precise and agile handling. The suspensions, developed by WP APEX Pro, are fully adjustable both front and rear, allowing detailed tuning to each rider’s preference.
When it comes to braking, this naked bike doesn’t disappoint: the Brembo Stylema brakes feature 300mm floating discs in front and 230mm at the rear, ensuring powerful and controlled braking.
Another highlight is the BST Star Tek carbon fiber wheels, which reduce unsprung weight and offer an exclusive visual touch. In total, with a full tank (16 liters), the GP2-890 XX weighs just 140 kg, making it incredibly agile and perfect for tight corners and quick direction changes.
Cutting-Edge Track Technology
Krämer has equipped this bike with a Mectronik MKE7 electronic control unit, which manages features such as nine-level adjustable traction control, five-setting wheelie control, and even a pit lane speed limiter.
The instrument panel, an ECUMaster ADU 5, displays clear and precise information, including a GPS lap timer to monitor lap times. To further personalize the experience, Krämer allows adjustment of engine maps to each user’s riding style.
Aesthetics and Exclusivity
Many of the GP2-890 XX’s components are manufactured in carbon fiber, from the air intakes to the number plates. For the first time, Krämer offers a factory customization program, allowing customers to choose the frame color and bike graphics.
Exclusive, but Priced Accordingly
The GP2-890 XX will be produced in limited quantities and will be available in Europe from spring 2025. The price? 50,000 euros, a tag that reflects the high level of engineering, premium components, and unique character of this track-focused naked bike.
For track enthusiasts, this machine isn’t just a motorcycle: it’s a statement of intent.
