Aprilia is determined to achieve success in MotoGP, ramping up its investment with a new rider lineup for 2025: this year’s champion Jorge Martín and Marco Bezzecchi, who finished third in the 2023 championship.
Both riders have victories to their names and are joining a manufacturer coming off a somewhat inconsistent season. Livio Suppo told GPOne.com that Aprilia’s performance in 2024 isn’t easy to assess.
Suppo, who has previously led both Honda and Suzuki in MotoGP, highlighted the potential of Aprilia’s new recruits and expressed hope they can compete for victories:
– Martín has shown he is clearly on another level, and Bezzecchi is coming off a disappointing year but won races in 2023. So, as a fan, I hope they can perform well because the more riders capable of winning, the more exciting the championship becomes.
