Ducati is set to make its debut in the MXGP Motocross World Championship next season, with Mattia Guadagnini completing its rider lineup alongside the previously announced Jeremy Seewer.
The Borgo Panigale manufacturer will compete in collaboration with Maddii Racing, a team with extensive experience in the international motocross scene.
Guadagnini, 22 won a Junior 125cc World Championship title and a European 125cc Championship title. He debuted in the MX2 World Championship in 2021 and stepped up to MXGP the following year.
Previously associated with brands under the Pierer Mobility Group – this year he raced for Nestaan Husqvarna – Guadagnini has already achieved a podium finish in MXGP, securing third place at last year’s MXGP of Spain.
The Desmo450 MX will be the bike, developed over the past year through participation in the Italian Motocross Championship – where Alessandro Lupino secured the title riding the Ducati.
