Ducati once again proved to be the standout manufacturer in MotoGP, and the various riders with their Desmosedici machines, regardless of version, were often in the spotlight. The riders’ world title, with Jorge Martín (Pramac Racing), joined the already secured Constructors’ and Teams’ titles, which is why Gigi Dall’Igna considered this a ‘stratospheric year’.
The Ducati Corse General Manager showed his happiness for another year of success by the manufacturer, as shared on LinkedIn: ‘For Ducati, 2024 was a stratospheric year, in which we broke the record for victories and podiums, with the highlight of placing all eight Desmosedici bikes ahead of everyone in the Thailand Sprint Race’.
Dall’Igna then emphasized the strong numbers presented across the board by the teams, with victories being the highlight: ‘Incredible numbers that speak for themselves: we won 19 out of 20 races, achieved 14 all-Ducati podiums, and in 6 Grand Prix, the first 5 bikes at the finish line were ours! We secured 16 Pole Positions, and this year Ducati’s victory count in MotoGP rose to 106: we are the only European motorcycle manufacturer to surpass the 100-victory mark!’
And he showed his gratitude to all involved in the many achievements: ‘Now, we must continue on this path, with the mentality of those who always pursue a goal but never feel they have completely achieved it: this is my wish as I thank, from the bottom of my heart, all the women and men of Ducati Corse for the commitment and passion shown every day’.
