The MotoGP season ended with Brad Binder as the best-placed rider in the KTM universe, but even that was not enough, as the rider and the manufacturer itself had expected more.
This was confirmed by the rider himself after the tests in Barcelona: ‘Looking back, I think it’s safe to say that it was an adventure for all of us. We all expected a lot more, not just me but KTM itself and in general we all wanted something more from the season and unfortunately it was more tricky than we expected’.
However, despite the fact that not everything went as expected, the number 33 left us with one guarantee: we were totally committed, always and in every round:
– Even so, we tried our best every weekend and gave it our all: whether it was to finish tenth or to try and get closer to the podium at the end of the weekend. At the end of the day I’m happy with everyone’s effort, and I know they’re working hard.
Binder then explained that the final position will be the starting position for what lies ahead: ‘It’s not 100% where we want to be and we’ll start from here’.
