As the Little Rock Men’s Golf team wraps up its 2024 fall season, they’re heading to Tulsa, Oklahoma, with high hopes for another stellar performance. This time, the Trojans will be competing at The Clerico, a two-day tournament hosted by Oral Roberts University at the challenging Oaks Country Club. With the first two rounds teeing off on Monday, and the final round closing things out on Tuesday, this competition will be the Trojans’ chance to defend their title after winning last year’s event in Broken Arrow.
Little Rock enters The Clerico with serious momentum, fresh off a dominant showing at the Everett Buick GMC Classic on October 14-15, where they claimed first place at Chenal Country Club. The fall season has been a consistent display of skill and tenacity, as the Trojans have landed Top 10 finishes in all four of their events, including three Top 5 placements and two finishes in the Top 3. Luka Roessler, a standout talent for Little Rock, secured an impressive third place at Chenal, earning him the OVC Golfer of the Week honor.
This year’s tournament will bring together 13 teams at the 6,950-yard, Par 70 Oaks Country Club, setting up a competitive field for Little Rock as they look to close the fall season on a high note.
