The 2024 Skoda Octavia is set to receive a mid-cycle refresh, rather than a complete redesign. Official digital illustrations show a sporty model with an aggressive shape and sloping roofline, but these renderings do not accurately represent the final product. Skoda has mentioned redesigned bumpers, sharper headlamps, and a new interpretation of the grille. The car is also expected to have a new infotainment system and updated digital instrument gauges. Some tweaks have been made to the steering wheel and center console, although details have not been released.
The 2024 Octavia is expected to offer a range of engines, including 1.0L three-cylinder and 2.0L four-cylinder units. Mild hybrids and plug-in hybrids will also be available. Skoda is catering to European preferences by including diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG) options. The facelifted Octavia range will continue to offer the RS (vRS in the UK) sporty variant. This version will feature a retuned chassis, uprated brakes, larger bumpers, dedicated wheels, and other enhancements. The engine will also receive a power boost.
It is rumored that the facelifted Octavia will only be available as a hatchback and station wagon, with the jacked-up Scout model being discontinued. More information will be revealed in the coming days or weeks, with the car likely to be available for order shortly after its online premiere. Deliveries are expected to begin in the summer.
