Skoda has released a “teaser” of a new electric model, which will be revealed on March 15th during the brand’s annual press conference where they will analyze the numbers for 2023 and announce the plans for 2024.
Although the name of the model has not been announced yet, everything points to it being the Elroq, a new compact SUV that is expected to go into production at the end of 2024, and it is the first of six models that the brand will launch in the coming years.
About the so-called Elroq, Skoda has already announced that it is a compact model with approximately 4.50 meters in length and a combination of compact exterior dimensions and a practical and spacious interior. As a 100% electric model, it will be the direct successor to the Karoq, expanding Skoda’s range of SUV-style models.
According to the Czech brand, the new 100% electric model previews the design of future electric models from the Mladá Boleslav house.
The revealed ‘teaser’ shows the front of the new model and its LED lighting signature, with the illuminated Skoda emblem adorning the sculpted hood.
