Max Verstappen, the Dutch driver of Red Bull Racing, dominated the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Imola, Italy. Despite McLaren’s best efforts, Verstappen’s exceptional speed at the start allowed him to build a significant advantage over his competitors. McLaren boss Andrea Stella acknowledged that Verstappen’s performance was superior and that McLaren’s strategy was limited by the need to manage their tire budget. Although Lando Norris made a late charge towards Verstappen, Stella believed Verstappen had done enough to secure the win. Stella also praised Norris for his ability to adapt to the challenges of tire overheating and maintain a strong performance in the final stages of the race.
