Dallas Cowboys breathe sigh of relief as CeeDee Lamb and Tyler Booker avoid injured reserve despite ankle injuries

Injury Updates Bring Hope for Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys received encouraging news regarding two key players, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and right guard Tyler Booker, both of whom sustained high-ankle sprains during the team’s Week 3 defeat against the Chicago Bears.

Both athletes are expected to miss several games, with their first absence occurring in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers. However, the Cowboys have managed to avoid the worst-case scenario, as head coach Brian Schottenheimer confirmed that neither Lamb nor Booker is expected to be placed on injured reserve.

Positive Signs for Recovery

In an added boost to their recovery, Tyler Booker has successfully removed his walking boot, signaling progress in his healing process.

Schottenheimer remarked on the situation, stating, “We don’t anticipate putting CeeDee Lamb or Tyler Booker on IR, but we reserve the right to change our mind.” This cautious optimism reflects the team’s intention to monitor their progress closely while preparing for the upcoming challenges without them in the lineup.

As injuries continue to impact the roster, the Cowboys remain hopeful that Lamb and Booker will return to action sooner rather than later, allowing them to regain their strength and contribute to the team’s efforts in the weeks ahead.
