Aaron Judge to Return to Right Field for Yankees Against Twins

Aaron Judge is poised to reclaim his position in right field for the New York Yankees as they face the Minnesota Twins on Monday at Target Field. This update comes courtesy of insider reports suggesting that Giancarlo Stanton will take on the designated hitter role for this matchup.

A Healthier Judge

After spending the weekend as a designated hitter against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, Judge is set to make his anticipated return to the field. His last appearance in right came on September 5, following a significant absence due to a right flexor strain that kept him sidelined for over six weeks. Despite the time away from defensive play, Judge has shown no signs of rust at the plate.

MVP Contender

Even during his recovery, Judge has maintained his status as a frontrunner for the American League MVP award. His remarkable performance this season is underscored by an impressive batting line of .325/.447/.673, complemented by 47 home runs and 101 RBIs. These statistics not only highlight his offensive prowess but also reinforce his candidacy for a third MVP title.

With Judge back in right field, Yankees fans are eagerly anticipating his contributions as the team pushes forward in the season. The combination of his powerful bat and strong defensive skills could be pivotal as the Yankees aim for a strong finish.
